D-Backplane

These back panels serve as sockets for trays in server cabinets. They carry either connectors or bare gold plated pins. The term grade D" was selected because one finds only 50% of the board covered with connectors or pins. In case the pins are not found to be gold plated the back plane will be put in a different category.
